We are back with part 2 of our conversation about season 1 of "Suits" with creator Aaron Korsh, and producing director Kevin Bray. This week, we discuss how Kevin empowered Sarah and Donna, the challenges of making "Suits," Kevin and Aaron's can-opener theories, the story of casting Rachel Zane, and why Sarah almost wasn't cast as Donna.

Clearing The Docket with Aaron Korsh & Kevin Bray - Pt. 1

It’s the moment you’ve all been waiting for... we finally take a deep dive into the can opener! We’ve reached the season 1 finale, "Dog Fight." Kevin Bray was back at the helm and Patrick and Sarah are ready to discuss. They play "who said it?" with the best one-liners, and Kiki’s day is made when Sarah casually drops intel about The Devil Wears Prada.  Sarah breaks down one of the greatest scenes of the season for Patrick, and they reminisce about learning the show had earned a second  season!  


Dog Fight

This week Sarah and Patrick dig into the penultimate episode of season 1 – Rules of the Game – which, lucky for us, includes multiple scenes with everyone’s favorite chaotic duo! Director Mike Smith shares his memories of working with Patrick and Sarah, we debate the correct way to pronounce "mentor," and our hosts share advice they received from veteran actors early in their careers. And on that note, how do we feel about Mike and Donna’s acting skills?  It’s all leading up to the first season finale of Suits!

After 15 years, they've still got it! This week, we have Vanessa Ray (Jenny) and Tom Lipinski (Trevor) in studio to talk about their Suits journeys. We hear audition stories, learn which celeb's loft "Suits" rented for first Mike/Trevor/Jenny scene, get behind-the-scenes stories on iconic moments like the handshake and the fight scene. Plus, listen to Sarah and Vanessa become besties in real-time.
